Pretend to reconize people as I greet them. Pretend to laugh at dumb/creepy jokes. Pretend to care about the football game thats playing. Doodle. Light candles. Hide the fact i’m texting from my manager. Bus tables then linger in the kitchen talking to the servers/busboys. Answer the phone. and .01% of the time I seat people.
